The University of Wisconsin-Madison is opening a new humanities building, Irving & Dorothy Levy Hall, this fall, with the athletics department on track to finish an indoor football practice facility next to Camp Randall in the summer, the Cap Times reports.

The indoor football practice facility, the Kellner Family Athletic Center, is located on Monroe Street and cost $285 million, while the new home for humanities at 232 N. Park Street cost $115 million. The football facility is the largest capital project in the athletic department’s history.

The university is also set to break ground on a visit and education center at the Lakeshore Nature Preserve near Picnic Point. The work on the preserve is expected to finish in late 2027.
