Plans will go before city officials for approval starting this month for a four-story UW Health clinic announced a year ago, the Wisconsin State Journal reports. Expected to open in early 2026, it will include specialty care, primary care, urgent care, a lab, and a pharmacy, among other services.
The 180,000-square-foot clinic will be located south of the Digestive Health Center opened in 2013 at 750 University Row. It will replace the UW Health West Towne Clinic on Mineral Point Road, which will then be closed and sold.
The project also includes an 830-stall, 3.5-story parking structure that will be partly underground.
An informational presentation was given before the Urban Design Commission in March; the project is set to go before the same commission Wednesday for approval. After that, it will go to the Plan Commission by July 10 and the City Council July 25. If approved, site preparation would begin this fall, and construction would start next spring.
