A new food cart, Aha Momo, opened last month outside of the University of Wisconsin’s Educational Sciences building at 1025 W. Johnson St., The Capital Times reports.
Chef and owner Yeshe Gyatso offers Tibetan momos — steamed, handmade dumplings — from the cart, including meat-filled and vegetarian options.
Gyatso is also the main chef at all Tibetan community events in the area and, although the cart is a new venture for him, he has previously worked in a Chinese restaurant, a Nepalese restaurant and a Japanese restaurant.
Aha Momo is open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
In the future, Gyatso plans to expand Aha Momo beyond the cart, possibly into a full restaurant.
