Stella’s Bakery, the popular Dane County Farmer’s Market stall serving up Hot & Spicy Cheese Bread, opens its new location on the near west side Tuesday.
The 1219 Regent St. bakery will serve Stella’s baked goods, as well as coffee, beer and wine. A grand opening is scheduled for Nov. 1.
The bakery’s location at 2908 Syene Road will close as a retail outlet and remain a bakery. This is due to the farmers’ market requirement that a business only operate one retail location.
Stella’s is popular at the farmers’ market, with the Wisconsin State Journal reporting that the business can sell up to 2,500 loaves of its cheese bread in one day.
