The Overture Center announced several new shows coming to Madison. Evolutionary biologist and pioneer in ancient DNA research Beth Shapiro will lecture as part of the National Geographic Live’s Touring Speaker Series on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 7:30 p.m. On Wednesday, Sept. 7, bluegrass group Watchhouse, formerly known as Mandolin Orange, will perform at the center at 8 p.m. Country music singer, songwriter, and record producer Brett Eldredge and his Songs About You Tour will perform on Friday, Sept. 9, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for all performances are available online.
