Yako Sushi House opened Tuesday on Madison’s east side in the former location of Red Lion Singapore Grill & Japanese Cuisine, 515 Cottage Grove Road, which closed late last summer, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.
Zhaolu Lam, 27, owns the business and will prepare the food while his fiancee, Winnie Lei, 24, will be the restaurant manager and a server.
Yako is a full-service restaurant with a focus on sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. It will offer a few appetizers, but no entrees.
