This week, Gov. Tony Evers signed Executive Order No. 104 and Emergency Order No. 1 creating a new statewide public health emergency and face coverings requirement, according to a release from the administration.
The orders aim to curb the spread of COVID-19 as more residents are vaccinated but vaccine supplies are limited and a new, more easily transmissible virus strain has emerged.
