The Milwaukee-headquartered Ethnic and Diverse Business Coalition announced the official launch of the Wisconsin Diverse Enterprise Network (WiDEN), an online platform designed to bridge the gap between Fortune 500 companies and Wisconsin’s diverse, socially- and economically-disadvantaged businesses in an intentional and equitable way. The platform is backed by local chambers of commerce and established business organizations.

The WiDEN community offers a range of resources, including connections to expert business advice, statewide and nationwide visibility, and potential procurement opportunities. The platform aims to empower businesses to thrive in a competitive market by fostering an ecosystem of connection and growth for businesses of all sizes.

WiDEN’s official statewide launch will include the Connect, Collaborate, Thrive Tour kicking off in August. Led by the Ethnic and Diverse Business Coalition and its partner, New North, this multicity tour throughout Wisconsin will introduce the platform’s offerings, showcase success stories, and highlight the importance of supporting the state’s business community.

Among confirmed WiDEN tour stops is the Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce Expo on Oct. 9 at the Sheraton Madison Hotel.
