A new order by Gov. Tony Evers is allowing nonessential retailers to reopen with no more than five customers in the store at any given time.

According to a statement from the administration, the new relaxed restrictions are focused on “local spots” and are the latest efforts to restart the economy. Effective immediately, stand-alone or strip mall-based retail stores and drive-in theatres also are allowed to reopen with restrictions. Social distancing practices must be maintained at all operating businesses.
