The Madison City Council approved liquor and entertainment licenses for what will be a new 325-person capacity nightclub on the city’s east side.

Gregory Kveberg and Jason Socha hope to fill a void created by the 2015 closing of the Inferno Nightclub with a new club called the Alabaster Duckling.

They will transform an abandoned warehouse at 3116 Commercial Ave. into a club featuring burlesque shows in a techno, goth, and industrial setting, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
