Developer Gregg Shimanski is looking to add a four-story, mixed-use development with 44 apartment units and 5,300 square feet of commercial space at 1603 Monroe St.
The only holdup currently is whether or not the city will grant a conditional use permit for a drive-thru service window.
Several financial institutions have expressed interest, according to a Capital Times article.
The proposed 61,000-square-foot structure would replace a 1960s office building and a single-family home.
Construction is scheduled to begin April 3 and be completed by March 2018.
