Master beer judge Keith Symonds, together with Madison native Pepper Stebbins and some private investors, plans to spend about $500,000 to open the city’s newest brewpub on the city’s east side. The group wants to convert 4,700 sq. ft. at 2439 Atwood Ave. into Next Door Brewing Co. later this year. Pending approvals, the brewpub will reportedly employ up to 30 people and be able to produce about 500 barrels of beer each year.
