Nolen Hotel Investment is interested in bringing a new four-story Holiday Inn Express and Suites hotel to John Nolen Drive. The proposed $6 million hotel would have 111 rooms and 116 parking spaces, and if the project is approved, construction could begin in October at 610 John Nolen Drive, with the hotel opening in November 2014. Nolen Hotel Investment is a development team made up of Kothe Real Estate Partners, Landgraf Construction, Great Lakes Management, and Gary Brink & Associates.
Other major projects are still planned for what is seen as a gateway corridor to the city. A $34.5 million, 201-room Crowne Plaza Hotel will break ground soon at 2155-2205 Rimrock Road, and a five-story mixed-used project with 80 apartments is also being considered for 900 John Nolen Drive.
