Ground is moving for a future MainStay Suites hotel at 4802 Tradewinds Pkwy. in Madison near the intersection of Stoughton Road and the Beltline.
According to a release, the new 70-room hotel will offer an extended stay option and will be an addition to the 89-room Sleep Inn & Suites that opened in 2009.
Construction on the dual-branded property from Choice Hotels should be completed in January 2018.
