The first half of 2021 has seen no slowdown to new home construction as numbers continue to rise, according to a release from the Wisconsin Home Builders Association. Data from municipalities across the state indicate 7,008 permits were pulled between Jan. 1 and June 30 this year compared to 5,074 in the first half of 2020, a 38.1% increase. In the first half of 2021, 97 plats and 2,413 lots were approved.
