Dane County Board Chair Patrick Miles and representatives from the Dane County Cities and Villages Association will introduce a county board resolution to create a new Dane County Advisory Committee on data centers on Thursday.

According to a statement, the resolution, 2025 RES-205, calls for the establishment of an advisory body to research, analyze and provide policy recommendations regarding the economic, environmental and community implications of large-scale data center development in Dane County.
