A new craft cocktail bar is coming to Madison’s Tenney-Lapham neighborhood this March, according to The Capital Times. Owners JR Mocanu, most recently of Robin Room and a longtime hospitality professional in Texas, and Jack Yip, co-owner of Madison’s RED and Jacknife restaurants, are calling the new business Public Parking. It’s set to open in a five-year-old building at 709 E. Johnson St.

Public Parking will span 1,864 square feet and be able to accommodate around 96 people inside and 32 on the sidewalk out front. Its menu will focus on original recipes and include Japanese bar food prepared at nearby Jacknife, as well as ever-changing seasonal offerings. Patrons will be able to place orders via QR code to be delivered directly to their table.

Bar hours are planned to run Tuesday–Sunday from 4 p.m.–2 a.m. Food will be served until 10 p.m.
