This Friday, a new community hub — Aubergine — is set to open at 1226 Williamson St., according to WMTV15. Willy Street Co-op will hold the grand opening.
The new space will be put to diverse uses, hosting cooking classes, events, and community gatherings. The name “Aubergine” was decided by a public vote. Its grand opening will feature artwork by Roscoe Mitchell.
