Madison will play host to a new festival this fall that organizers hope will be a draw for food enthusiasts from across the country, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.
The Art of Cheese Festival, Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, will feature tours of dairy farms and creameries; the Wisconsin Cheese Ball at the Garver Feed Mill, where attendees will take in live music, food, drinks, and cheese tastings; and a cheese marketplace on East Washington Avenue just off the Capitol Square in conjunction with the Dane County Farmers’ Market.
