According to The Capital Times, a new Central Asian restaurant called Silk Road will open late this August at 1920 S. Park St. The restaurant will occupy the former Madtown Chicken N’ Fish location.
Silk Road is set to operate Tuesday–Sunday from 10 a.m.–9 p.m. It will offer delivery, takeout, and catering services. The cuisine will include influences from Tajikistan, the home of owner Manuchehr Kholov, as well as other countries in the region.
The restaurant will be halal, so alcoholic beverages will not be served, but it will offer fresh squeezed juice, multiple green tea varieties, and lemonade.
