Lawmakers at the state Capitol reviewed several higher education bills on Wednesday that could affect student planning, tuition policies and campus rights across the state, according to a WKOW report.
One of the proposed changes would expand tuition remission and fees for veterans and their families. Another would require colleges to report on costs and outcomes, such as job placement.
The final proposal would address a shortage of school psychologists via a student loan relief grant of $10,000 a year.
