Wisconsin Act 8 was signed into law this week allowing dentists with the proper training to administer COVID-19 vaccines and flu shots in Wisconsin, according to a report from Wisconsin Public Radio.

While dentists are required to go through an eight-hour training in administration, storage, and record-keeping, the bill hopes to provide greater access to the vaccine. Vaccine eligibility to Wisconsinites with preexisting conditions opened on March 22.
