Monarch Health Addiction Recovery Clinic is opening at the corner of East Washington and South Blair Street and will provide medication, counseling, and lab testing in one place, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.
The clinic’s focus will be on using medications including buprenorphine to treat addiction. Opioid overdoses are up 48% this year statewide and opioid overdose deaths are up 35% in Madison.
