Warner Bros. Discovery may have a new owner soon, according to CNBC.
Netflix, Comcast and Paramount Skydance all placed bids for a takeover of the company this week before a deadline for first-round offers.
Paramount already had a bid rejected by Warner Bros. Discovery. Comcast and Netflix have bid for the film and streaming assets, which include Warner Bros. studio and HBO Max.
Details of the bids have not emerged.
Warner Bros. Discovery wants the sale process to end by late December, and more bids are expected in the coming weeks.
The sale was prompted by Warner Bros. Discovery’s conclusion of a strategic review of its business.
