About 100 neighbors of the proposed Madison Yards development had all kinds of questions for the developers in a recent meeting about the project, according to a Capital Times report. Many centered around parking, Whole Foods, and stormwater runoff.
Madison Yards will replace what used to be the Wisconsin Department of Transportation building at University Avenue and Segoe Road, and developers have proposed housing, an eight-story hotel, moving the nearby Whole Foods grocery store to anchor the project, and other amenities.
The project still needs approvals from the Plan Commission and City Council. If that happens, the project could break ground later this year and open in 2022.
