Nature’s Bakery Cooperative, 1019 Williamson St., closed its retail space and ceased production of perishable bread for grocery store distribution.
The 50-year-old business will continue to ship other products nationwide, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal. Gini Lopez opened the bakery in 1970.
