National nonprofit Shatterproof launched a new resource on Tuesday to help those with an addiction find treatment, NBC15 reports. Wisconsin is among the 11 states currently served by the resource, called Atlas, but Shatterproof plans to expand the tool nationwide.
Atlas is free and can be accessed online. It supports those seeking addiction treatment by helping them compare treatment facilities’ quality of addiction care and finding the right treatment based on:
- Location of the program;
- Facility protocol to follow best practices;
- Known information on insurance and alternate methods of payment selected; and
- Types of treatment services offered, among other information.
