LinkEHR, a Madison-based EHR-focused managed services firm, has been acquired by Cumberland Consulting Group, according to a release.
Cumberland is a Nashville, Tennessee-based health care consulting and services firm and a portfolio company of private equity firm Tailwind Capital. Terms were not disclosed.
The Madison office will remain and become Cumberland’s base for its newly formed provider Managed Services Practice. Jill Nemoir, CEO of LinkEHR, will join Cumberland as managing director of managed services.
About 50 LinkEHR professionals will also move under the Cumberland umbrella, boosting Cumberland’s total employee count to more than 500.
