Following its move to a new location in May to expand its community offerings, the Dane County nonprofit National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is set to host a fall fundraiser supporting its mental health services, WMTV15 reports. NAMI Walks will take place on Oct. 4 at Olin Park, with registration starting at 10:30 a.m. and the walk at noon.
The event will help bolster the nonprofit’s free programming. The organization has reportedly been collaborating with community partners and school districts on new projects, with the goal of filling local service gaps for mental health services.
