The renovated Madison Municipal Building at 215 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. was unveiled to the public on Dec. 8.

Originally built as a U.S. Post Office and courthouse in 1929, the building had lost a lot of its character through the years, and it closed in 2016 for $30 million in renovations.

The building houses the Community Development Authority, building inspection, economic development, traffic engineering, zoning, and human resources, as well.
