MU Law Poll: Barnes leads Johnson

The latest Marquette Law School survey finds that Democrat Mandela Barnes holds a 7-point lead over Republican Ron Johnson in the U.S. Senate race. Barnes is supported by 51% while incumbent Sen. Ron Johnson is the choice of 44%, and 1% say neither, 3% say they don’t know, and 1% declined to answer. In the June poll, 46% preferred Barnes and 44% chose Johnson. Meanwhile, Gov. Tony Evers is ahead of Republican Tim Michels by just 2 points in the race for governor, as 45% support Evers and 43% favor Michels. In June, 48% supported Evers and 41% favored Michels.
