The Madison Reading Project (MRP) Board of Directors announced a new co-leadership model aimed at strengthening its literacy programs’ viability and increasing capacity.
MRP founder Rowan Childs and Deirdre Steinmetz, longtime MRP leader and program director, are now co-executive directors. Steinmetz will spearhead MRP’s programs and operations, while Childs will focus on communications and development.
In addition to the change in its leadership model, MRP announced the promotion of Natalie Holdahl to program director and the addition of Emily Wills as development director.
