A Madison Police Department spokesperson reported that a man allegedly made racial comments inside a State Street business on Tuesday after he was kicked out of a bar for disorderly conduct, according to WMTV15.
The man was reportedly kicked out of Whiskey Jack’s Saloon at around 1 a.m. and then allegedly entered another business, Stop and Shop, kicking the door on the way inside. A clerk reported that the man made made racial comments toward an employee.
The Hate Crime Task Force was notified. The man was taken to Dane County Jail for disorderly conduct with a hate crime enhancer as well as obstructing an officer.
