Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce presented eight companies with Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year awards Thursday night during the MOTY program’s annual banquet at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.
The winners, who competed against 52 total nominees, include:
• Generac Holdings, Waukesha (mega category)
• Bell Laboratories, Madison (large category)
• Edstrom Industries, Waterford (medium category)
• Waukesha Metal Products, Sussex (small category)
• Linetec, Wausau (sustainability category)
Special awards were presented to Cambridge Major Laboratories, Germantown, which won the “Investing Locally, Growing Globally” award; KHS USA, Waukesha, which took home the “Educational Stewardship” award; and Power Test of Sussex, which was presented with the “Operational Excellence & Community Support” award.
The 24th annual MOTY award program was sponsored by the accounting firm of Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, the law firm Michael Best & Friedrich, and WCM.
Winners were selected by an independent panel of judges representing industry, education, and the public sector.
