Verona nonprofit Morgan’s Caring Connection has had a successful first full year, raising more than $75,000 through six community fundraising events in 2025 to support families and individuals with special needs, the Verona Press reports.
The nonprofit was able to award 20 Family Support Grants, more than its expected five.
The organization has managed to award four times its expected amount to help families across the state “secure guardianships, special needs trusts, wills and financial plans — critical steps that protect their loved ones’ futures,” the newspaper reports.
The nonprofit was founded in 2024.
