Elizabeth Murphy Burns, the president and CEO of Morgan Murphy Media, is retiring from her current leadership position after 43 years, Channel3000 reports. Moving forward, she will chair the company’s board of directors.
Brian Burns, the company’s current executive vice president and COO, will assume the position of president and CEO, effective immediately. The company has been led by a member of the family since its foundation in 1890. Brian Burns is the fifth president and CEO in the company’s 135-year history.
