Media veteran Scot Chastain was named vice president and general manager of WISC-TV in Madison by Morgan Murphy Media, Channel 3000 reports. Chastain comes with experience in local broadcasting and network operations.
Chastain was formerly a local television general manager in Lansing, Michigan and Sacramento, California, and most recently was director of sales and marketing for KUTV in Salt Lake City, Utah. He also was head of affiliate marketing for NBC for over 20 years.
Chastain will oversee the CBS affiliate WISC-TV, Television Wisconsin, Channel 3000, Madison Magazine, and Phase 3 Digital in Madison.
