Citing Vilas Neighborhood Association restrictions, the owners of Double S BBQ at 1835 Monroe St. closed up shop on Oct. 20, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
Those restrictions did not allow the restaurant to smoke its food on site, forcing Shon and Sarah Jones to cater their own food. That simply proved to be too costly.
