According to NBC15, the Monona Grove school board voted Wednesday to remove a policy change following pushback from teachers who said it threatened their job security.

Dozens of teachers attended the board’s Wednesday meeting. They said the trust between them and the administration had been broken after the administration made changes to the language in its employee handbook on Aug. 9. According to the teachers, the changes took away due process and made it easier not to renew a teacher’s contract.

The school board voted unanimously to remove the change after hearing the teachers’ concerns.
