The City of Monona and Klinke Cleaners reached a settlement on a soil contamination issue that resulted from construction along Monona Drive several years ago.
As part of the agreement, Klinke’s Clothing Care Corp. will pay the city $600,000 but does not have to admit any fault relating to tetrachloroethylene (PCE) contamination that was allegedly uncovered during the project.
