Downtown Madison addiction treatment clinic Monarch Health will close Friday, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
The clinic opened at 521 E. Washington Ave. in September 2020. Co-founded by Dr. Michael Repplinger, a UW Hospital emergency medicine doctor, it has provided counseling and several addiction treatment medications, but not the opioid use disorder treatment methadone.
Madison’s fifth methadone clinic is planned to open in early June.
