The MMSD Board of Education is set to select final candidates for its district superintendent position in late February, NBC15 reports. Since November, around 60 applicants have expressed interest in the role.

The district has solicited community involvement throughout the selection process, particularly in the creation of the job profile, and is continuing to do so. The board and representatives of Alma Advisory Group are offering the following participation options on the MMSD website:

  • Send in a nomination or self-nominate between now and Jan. 12 to get involved with the interview panels;
  • Submit recommendations for interview panel questions for finalists between now and Jan. 12; or
  • Watch the live streamed candidate interviews and offer feedback to the board.
