Registration for the Madison Metropolitan School District’s (MMSD) Career and Technical Education (CTE) Summer Discovery program is now open. The program is offered at no cost to all interested students who will be attending a district middle school in the 2025-26 school year.

The sessions will be led by licensed CTE teachers and experts in their fields and will run in full-day (8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) and half-day (8:30 a.m.- noon and 1-4:30 p.m) sessions, depending on the offering. Full-day sessions will include a lunch provided at no cost.

Sessions will take place July 7-24 across each of the district’s four high schools — East, La Follette, Vel Phillips Memorial and West high schools — which received significant upgrades to their CTE spaces as part of the 2020 community-supported facilities referendum.
