MMSD has announced some upcoming changes to its school lunches, according to NBC15. Next month, students will be able to take a survey on what cultural entrees they want added to the lunch menu.

Despite the fact that the district is taking new steps, it last year received complaints from parents and teachers regarding its snack kits, which some students received in lieu of full meals. School meals are for some children the only meals they receive daily.

With 108 chefs, however, the district will be serving new meals this year. All students district-wide will receive breakfast and lunch every day. MMSD students start their school year this Friday.
