Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) on Thursday began nonstop service to Austin, Texas on Southwest Airlines. Daily flights will provide travelers a new way to travel to Texas’ state capital.
County Executive David Crowley said Southwest Airlines is “investing in the Milwaukee market by increasing their travel options from MKE.” Southwest is MKE’s largest carrier with nonstop flights to 18 cities.
