Madison and Main Apartments, a $7.7 million mixed-use housing development, broke ground last week in Waunakee on a former brownfield site that had previously been purchased by the village. The development will include 78 apartment units and 3,500 sq. ft. of commercial space in the village’s downtown. Ten of the units will be reserved for tenants with disabilities and another six for low-income residents.
