Minnesota-based Triple Shift Entertainment, a chain now with 20 bowling centers in five states, is acquiring Madison’s Bowl-A-Vard Lanes and Sun Prairie’s Prairie Lanes, according to the Wisconsin State Journal. The deal is expected to close in April; its terms were not disclosed.

Both Bowl-A-Vard, at 2121 E. Springs Drive in Madison, and Prairie Lanes, at 430 Clarmar Drive in Sun Prairie, are owned by members of the Bussan family, some of whom are Madison Area USBC Hall of Fame members.

Triple Shift offers traditional bowling leagues and tournaments as well as open play. While the Bussans will exit the business, Triple Shift says other management and employees will be able to stay with no changes or pay cuts.
