Animal health officials in Wisconsin are warning the state’s $223 million mink industry farmers about the risk of COVID-19 infections among animals after multiple European farms have reported outbreaks, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report.

None of the Wisconsin mink farms have documented cases of infection, and farmers say they are taking precautions to protect their herds.
