The third annual Minding My Black-Owned Business Pop-Up Shop will come to Madison’s Elver Park Neighborhood Center, 1201 McKenna Blvd., on Saturday, Feb. 22, from noon–3 p.m., according to Madison365. The event will feature over 40 Black- and brown-owned small businesses.
Takela Harper, assistant director of the Elver Park Neighborhood Center and Theresa Terrace Neighborhood Center, said the first two events saw roughly 200–250 attendees. Raffles will occur every 30 minutes and include donated items from the vendors as well as gift cards.
The event is free and open to the public.
