The chairman of the Wisconsin Center District Board said Tuesday that he has “grave concerns” about Frontier Airlines’ commitment to the naming rights for the region’s major convention center.

Franklyn Gimbel, chairman of the district board, which oversees the Frontier Airlines Convention Center, the U.S. Cellular Arena and the Milwaukee Theatre, said the final year of the $500,000 a year deal with the airline begins July 1.
